So... I hope you won't kill me, but I just have to upload two photos which are not hundert procent street... it's more documentary, I'd say. But I like them so much. Because I haven't found them in the internet, I scanned them out of the magazine I found them in. It was the German National Geographic and there was a really good article about China's development during the past 20 years and the contrasts between rich and poor.



Writing in the photo:
A just married couple drives through Shanghai with guests who are in a Minni and Micky Mouse disguise.

Integration against the will: Nomads visit the horsemen festival of Maqu in the province of Gansu. The new settlement (in the background) is part of a national programme that is supposed to force the Tibetans, who have been living as herders so far, to settle down and take over the modern lifestyle.
